Why Us?

Sawyer Lloyd is the consultancy business of Gareth Lloyd. Gareth brings clarity to numbers. He builds sophisticated financial models and provides clear analysis. This allows businesses to better understand how to drive profit, cash and success.
Gareth trained and qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) at KPMG where he spent seven years building financial models, providing commercial and financial analysis, assisting business sales, advising on restructuring and undertaking IBRs.
As a CFO, Gareth delivered significant improvements to finance team outputs, forecasting capability, commercial analysis and reporting. He has worked on several exits and refinancing projects.
Gareth has a range of sector experience, notably Manufacturing, Retail, Warehouse & Distribution, E-Commerce, Importing and Financial Services. He has operated in different ownership structures, including family owned and private equity.
Gareth understands the vital interplay between the finance team and operational aspects of a business, and sets out to align the two. He is known for building excellent relationships with business owners, investors and lenders meaning he is respected and trusted in the industry.
